Outpatient Occupational Therapist

I am very excited to be a part of the Pediplay family. I have transitioned from student to occupational therapist at Pediplay over the course of years and I love the family-based environment we are able to create. I earned my Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at Indiana University and was able to find my passion for the pediatric population. I have experience working with children with sensory processing difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral palsy, and other developmental delays. I love incorporating your child’s unique interests into each session to ensure therapy becomes one of the highlights of their week. Meeting your child’s goals and creating a safe and exciting environment will always be my main focus. I look forward to working with families and building collaborate relationships that allow their children to reach for the stars.

My husband and I are proud parents of three kids.  We have a 7-year-old daughter, an almost 3-year-old son and a 1-year old daughter.  I am a graduate of University of Indianapolis.  I have been working in pediatrics for the last four years and prior to that had experience in the hospital at an inpatient rehab unit.  I love occupational therapy and what it allows us to do.  Over the last four years I feel I have found my calling in pediatrics and am so happy to be with PediPlay.  I am looking forward to serving our clients and growing in my relationship with the families we serve.

Outpatient Occupational Therapist

I am so excited to be a part of the PediPlay family! The University of Indianapolis’ Doctorate of Occupational Therapy provided me with great clinical opportunities to work with a variety of pediatric clients with autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, genetic conditions, global developmental delay, sensory processing disorders, and many other conditions that impact child development. Working with children has always been my passion, and I love having the opportunity as an OT to create therapeutic activities that are fun, engaging, and allow a child to work on new skills. I believe in occupational therapy’s unique ability to help children improve their independence with important occupations: play, school, dressing, eating, socializing, and so much more! I look forward to collaborating with families in the clinic and through First Steps to ensure all therapy is child-focused, goal-oriented, and family-centered.
